I got three different night vision binos, of about three evenly spaced price-ranges. This one was the mid-priced one, and pound for pound, I think this one blew the other two away. The picture can be a little granier than the more expensive model I have, but the build quality seems more durable on this one, and it's more compact (BIG plus for me, because it fits into a nice bino rig I got for the winner, and the more expensive one was just too big). Much more durable, more powerful, and more comfortable to use than the cheaper one. I think its mid-range price point and build quality knock the competition in the dust. I did get a powerful tactical IR light that I thought would work in concert with these, lighting everything up even more. But for some reason, everything just turns blinding white when I turn on the IR light. I'll have to figure out what the deal is with that. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong, lol. But it has excellent range and brightness on its own. I Dig It!
